Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 started off in Mumbai in the very lavish JioGarden at Bandra Kurla Complex. The show saw many celebrities walking the ramp for their designer friends and marking yet another fashion sense for us.

Day 1
The first showstopper of the Lakme Fashion Week were Varun Dhawan along with his friend Arjun Kapoor who walked the ramp for designer Kunal Rawal's show.
Designer Kunal Rawal, marking his foray into separates for the first time, there were jacket kurtas, longline bundis, and high-low kurtas.
Day 2
Based on the concept of 'Sustainable Fashion and Indian Textiles', day 2 at the show was dedicated to colourful, tasselled sarees in a diverse colour palette with bottle greens, off whites, bright reds, blacks and metallics. Showstopper Preity Zinta presented Mekhela Chador by Sanjukta Dutta worn a beautiful Assamese traditional saree.

Day 3
Nimrat Kaur brought the show in an ornate red and gold lehenga for SVA by Paras and Sonam Modi, Label by Ritu Kumar’s latest collection ‘Maharaja Pop’ show stopped by Vaani Kapoor and the closing act for the day was by Bipasha Basu for designers Falguni and Shane Peacock, with their risqué cocktail collection ‘Rebel’ made of sheer unitards, curve-hugging dresses and bodysuits.

Day 4
Aditi Rao Hydari looked resplendent as she sashayed down in a black encrusted lehenga, a sizzling choli and an embellished tulle dupatta from the 'Romance Of Kotwara' collection for ace designer Kotwara.

Day 5
The final day of the fashion week started with Divya Reddy's collection 'Shahibzadi' which showcased Malaika Arora on the ramp.
Sashi Vangapalli had Sushmita Sen return to the ramp as the showstopper for her label ‘Mugdha Art Studio’.
Tabu walk the ramp in a off-white and gold Indian ensemble for designer Gaurang.
The grand finale of the week had Kareena Kapoor Khan walk the ramp for Anita Dongre in a stunning gold and white ensemble Alchemy.
